Perform a π Treatment Table on a creature to mend an π€ Injury. The treatment determines which items are required, the β Medicine Test π DC, and the total β‘ AP cost.
Required medical items to perform this Action
- See the π Treatment Table for all available treatments and their required items
- Items are consumed when used, regardless of whether the treatment succeeds (unless the Trained Medic milestone prevents it on failure)
Roll an π§ INT + β Medicine Test.
- π DC is determined by the chosen treatment and its quality tier
- See the π Treatment Table for specific DCs
Treatment Quality modifies the π DC:
Proper (all required items used): +0
Adequate (most items used): +3
Improvised (minimum viable items): +6
On SUCCESS:
- The π€ Injury is mended
- Apply all used item effects (healing, π Cripple Threshold recovery, etc.)
- Apply π Heal Bonus to both HP and π Cripple Threshold (triggers once when the injury is mended)
- Items are consumed
On FAILURE:
Minor Injuries:
- Item healing effects still apply (HP and CT from items)
- The π€ Injury is not mended
- No π Heal Bonus is applied
- Items are consumed (unless Trained Medic milestone applies)
Major Injuries and Incapacitations:
- The treatment fails completely β no healing, no mending
- Items are consumed (unless Trained Medic milestone applies)
Self-Treatment
Treating your own injuries is done with Disadvantage on the β Medicine Test.
Costs vary by treatment
- β‘ AP cost = sum of all used itemsβ β‘ AP costs
- +3 β‘ AP if any item used is not in a Quick Slot or a First Aid Kit / Doctorβs Bag internal slot
- β‘ Overflowable
- Target must remain adjacent to you for the duration
- See π Treatment Table for specific treatment costs
