You are not hidden — you are not noticed. The effect works on the observer’s mind rather than on light: attention slides off you, and the brain files whatever it saw or heard as nothing worth keeping. It has no effect on anything without a mind to reach.

Effects — against biological observers only

  • +10 to 👤 Sneak Tests at any range — the effect dulls hearing as readily as sight, so closing the distance does not weaken it
  • +5 Evasion, which applies even while 👥 Detected
  • Detection Tests against you are rolled at Disadvantage
  • Light level is ignored for concealment — you may attempt a Sneak Test even in a Bright tile
  • Cover is not required to 🤫 Hide

Against robots, turrets, and cameras: no bonus of any kind, and no Disadvantage on their detection. Your ordinary 👤 Sneak skill still applies.

Footage of you is not protected. Anyone viewing a recording, or a live feed from outside your reach, sees you normally — but someone watching a screen while still near you does not. The effect is on the observer’s mind, not on the image.

Mirrors do not count — they carry light to a mind, and the mind is what the effect works on.

Limits

  • You are still physically present: you leave tracks, block doorways, and ripple water
  • You attack — the effect is lost for the rest of the battle
  • You take damage — lost until you are fully healed
  • You are coated in mud, dust, blood, smoke, or paint — suppressed until it is cleaned off

Once it is lost you are an ordinary creature under ordinary 👥 Stealth rules.
